Reproducible Sealing of Mark tubes
Manual flame sealing of Mark tubes is often difficult to reproduce and can result in the loss of time, material, or even the sample itself.
The XRD Sealing Unit developed by Hilgenberg makes this process simple, safe, and reproducible. It fits into any laboratory fume hood and can be used as a stand-alone solution in the laboratory. The set includes all necessary components except for consumables (Mark tubes and pins).
An optional vacuum unit, a storage box for sealed Mark tubes, and suitable caps are available separately.

The XRD Sealing Unit includes:
- Stand-alone Mark tube heat-sealing device (kit)
- Device for holding and flame-sealing Mark tubes
- Cylinder holder for fuel gas and oxygen cartridges
- 1x fuel gas cartridge / 1x oxygen cartridge
- Gas pressure regulators
- Tinted safety glasses
Glass Sample Holders for Goniometer Heads
For precise positioning of Mark tubes in the goniometer head, we offer special glass pins for bonding the tubes in place. These reliably prevent the typical upward movement during heating, even when using very thin and lightweight capillaries.
