Purpose of the data processing
We process and use your data during your visit for the purpose of information security. This applies to data that is collected, processed and used during your visit. The following categories of personal data are concerned: Name of visitor, company, start and end time of visit, reason for visit, name of employee responsible for the visit.
Areas under video surveillance are specially indicated to draw your attention to the possibility of video recording. However, please always be aware that the buildings and premises of Hilgenberg GmbH are under video surveillance and that it is therefore possible that your image may be recorded.
The collection, processing and use of your data by video surveillance equipment is carried out in defence against threats that have already occurred or an increased potential threat to the property and/or intellectual property of Hilgenberg GmbH. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Categories of data recipients
As part of the provision of the service, we use service providers who are separately bound to confidentiality and data protection for special activities where access to personal data cannot be ruled out. These categories of recipients include: IT service providers, service providers for data destruction, the fire brigade in the event of a fire for the purpose of tracking persons present on the premises of Hilgenberg GmbH, as well as external consultants. Data will only be passed on to authorities if overriding legal provisions apply. Data is not transferred to third countries.
Retention period and deletion of data
Your data will be retained for the duration of the processing of your visit and deleted once the purpose no longer applies; if there are legal requirements, the data will be retained until the end of these regulations and then deleted.
The data recorded during video surveillance is generally deleted after 72 hours. The data will only be retained for longer if the recordings are still required to clarify or prove a specific incident. In this case, the data will be restricted and deleted immediately after the clarification measures have been completed or after the requirement for proof no longer applies.
Your right to information, rectification, erasure, objection and data portability
You can exercise your right to information, correction and deletion of data at any time. Simply contact us in the ways described above. If you wish your data to be deleted but we are still legally obliged to retain it, access to your data will be restricted (blocked). The same applies in the event of an objection. You can exercise your right to data portability insofar as the technical means are available to the recipient and to us.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority at any time.
Provision obligation
Without providing correct information, a visit to our company is not possible.
