Cutting device

Based on our diamond wires, we have developed a tool, which allows you cut glass capillaries precisely. Our device is especially suited for cutting accurate, adjustable lenghts of flat capillaries, and very thin walled, round capillaries. We use this tool daily for our own production. The cutting device has a clamp for holding the diamond wires and an easily adjustable longitudinal stop with a contact surface for the capillaries. Thereby, a reproducible cutting length is guaranteed . All three diameters of the diamond wires can be clamped into the cutting device. It is possible to produce lenghts of about 15 – 200 mm.
